I am new to smoking meats, just received a MES (Masterbuilt Electric) for a christmas gift. I have wanted one for about 2 year. I am an avid deer hunter and the main reason I wanted one was because of the expense of having sausage, and snack sticks made. I would like to make them myself and tweak recipes to my liking. I have prepared sausage in the oven...some has turned out well, some not so well. Looking forward to finding out tricks for making sausage (cured) and snack sticks, jerky, and other wild game recipes as well as using my new piece of equipment for brisquette and pulled pork.
