Hello From Missouri

  1. Newbie here. I've been a big fan of tastey smoked meat and cheese for a long time, but just bought my first smoker, a MES 40. After reading a bunch of reviews I decided to go with the model that has the controls on the top back with the vent on top. I also purchased the A-MAZ-N Pellet smoker. The Mes 40 just arived yesterday and still waiting on the AMZNP so I haven't smoked anything yet. I've got a ton to learn but I'm confident I can find and learn what I need here.

A little about me. I was born and raised in MO and will probably die here. I live in the country on 10 acres in East Central Missouri and work in the Military Aerospace industry as a Mechanical Engineer in St. Louis. Been married for 32 yrs and have 2 grown daughters and 5 grandchildren (all boys). My hobbies include hunting and fishing, shooting firearms and building AR rifles. I/we also are a hobby breeder of English Mastiffs.

Looking forward to being a member.
