Hi all. I have been lurking on this forum for some time learning about smoking jerky and decided it was time that I join.
I am an American Peace Corps volunteer serving and living in rural Mongolia. I live in a Mongolian ger (felt tent/hut) and i started making jerky for snacks. MO=ongolians liked it so much that I thought about doing it as a business when my service has finished. Mongolians have their own type of dried meat, but it is used for preservation, not for snacks or taste.
I hope that I can learn a lot from you guys to help me on my journey. I look forward to it.
Thanks.
