It is a bit windy and rainy here thats for sure. Glad to have you on the site.

And to think I was going to take out the boat after listening to our Ouji board Weatherman in Gainesville.

He said 5 to 10 mph winds out of Cedar Key. I checked the buoy data at it was 18 mph this early morning.

Little storm to the south?

I was coming over the Skyway this morning and the skies were about as nasty as they could look, can't imagine what it's like down there. Really gives you an good perspective on how big Ike is when we have large outer bands dumping rain and wind up here.

Flash, you made the right call, I was looking at the buoy's too and saw a couple at 6 + feet.

Ike is a huge storm! His impact is being felt for hundreds of miles. Not a day to be on the water.

Back to the real issue of this thread... Welcome to another Florida smoker.

Keep your eye out for a smoke out. There are some in the works.
