  1. I just bought a mes 30 from Amazon and haven't fired it up yet. The "seson instructions have me confused. Here they are " Preseason smoker prior to first use. Make sure water pan is in place with NO WATER. Set
    temperature to 275°F (135°C) and run unit for 3 hours. Shut down and allow to cool. Some smoke
    may appear during this time, this is normal.
    During last 45 minutes, add 1 cup of wood chips in chip loader to complete preseasoning.

    My question is the last line "add 1 cup of wood chips to the LOADER" ? 

    Do I turn the loader and put the chips into the woodchip HOLDER, or leave them in the LOADER ?

    I feel like a kid the week before Christmas. Always loved to cook, then a woman at work was going to buy her husban a mes for Christmas. That's all it took and I'm hooked before I even start.   :) Thanks for your help.

    Yes on dumping the chips into the holder. Sometimes the translation from Chinese to English gets a little fuzzy :)
  3. Yes, but do I dump them into the "chip holder" or leave them in the "holder". My daughter was just her and said , " it sounds like you leave them in the loder" ??
  4. Sorry, Long day. I'm "seasoning" as I'm writting this. Re-read what you said, and I get it. My mind is too excited to get it the first time. Thank you for your help.
