I just finished up with my first pork shoulder! it turned out awesome. I need some work on my rub but think I know what I am going to do on the next one!!! I only cooked a 3lb bone in to get some experience in and to learn the way my gosm cooked. The local grocery store has pork on sale so it only cost me 4 bucks for the shoulder!!! needless to say I have found a new hobby that i love!!! thanks for such an awesome forum I have learned so much!!! thanks guys!!!

Yes we have to teach you about those sales. When you find them tell everyone you know and then buy the rest. Now for the lack of Qview (like pineywoods said) we will cut you some slack for being new but we have a saying around here "If there's NO Qview it didn't happen".

  9. Congrats on your first smoke. I'll reiterate what the others said: give us the Qview! Us dudes are visual creatures; we like to look at things. Here is a link to help you learn how to post Qview. Welcome aboard!
