Anybody have any pics of this scenario and how they setup the height of the cooking grids? I am trying to figure out if I can fit a significant number more ribs in the ECB vertical that way.

Right now 3 racks St Louis is all that will fit, and they lay on top of each other a little.....I guess I could order another set of hangers and a third shelf from Brinkmann.

I use kabbob sticks to curl them up in a little O shape and stand them up. I think I could fit 4 on my ECB if I tried.

I bought a vertical with a door and slide out racks.
My old ECB handles the butts.

When I had an electric ECB, I used 2 of this type of rack for ribs:

I could usually put 6 half racks per shelf that way for a total of 6 full racks of ribs in the smoker at a time.

4 inside the slots and a leaner on each side. Would have to rotate the leaners with the middle ones to get even cooking.

I got six in my ECB once using a rack on top and bottom much like BigWayne here. I had to rotate them a LOT and it took longer than the 2-2-1 method for sure. If I do them again on the ECB (unlikely since I got the drum) I would only go 2 on top and 2 on bottom. The top rack is about +20 deg warmer than the lower rack on my ECB electric. Good luck.
