Chicken Thighs MES40

    Long time between smokes but I was able to do some,Chicken Thighs with Chinese 5 spice Plum sauce and my Chicken Rub. Brined over night dried then a few hours in the fridge to dry.Set the MES to 240 LOL that is a joke 290* is what my Polder read.Cooked to an IT of 175* they were a little less then what I like wife agreed.

    Needed a side to go with them so Mac & Cheese

    Plated with some Corn on the Cob

    That's a great looking plate of food Richie!

    Chicken thighs, any way you cook them are my favorite!

    Then you add the ultimate comfort food Mac-n-cheese!

    Doesn't get any better than that!

    I'm not real big on Chicken. but Thighs are my favorite!!

    I only have 2 Chicken Step by Steps in my Index, and they're both Thighs.

    Thanks Al I only started eating Chicken last year,after 45 yrs had a bad piece .I eat it now but its dead when I eat it lol Thanks for the point I appreciate

    Thanks for your service!  I noticed that your thighs (not yours, the chicken's) looked like you tied them up with string.  Did you?  And why did you tie them if you did.  I'm kind of a newbie so forgive me if that's a dumb question.  Thanks again!

    Yes they are tied,I do that so they are more covered with the skin.
