First off I just wanted to say this a great website. I've been lurking around this site for a couple months on and off. Finally got the second deer in the freezer and now its time to make some sausage, bologna, jerky and hot snack sticks. All I gotta do is build the smoker. Was thinking about using a stand up freezer. I have a char-broil with a side box but mainly use it for ribs, brisket, and shoulders. I was using it for bologna and snack sticks to give it a smoke and then finish them in the oven.
