4th Of July Dinner Under Way

Discussion in 'General Discussion' started by rubbin butts, Jul 4, 2013.

Finally started, been waiting for this for several days.

Was going to do a brisket but opted for ribs, 3 flavors of wings, spiral cut dogs, and of course man candy from the rib trimmings.

Using the two MES smokers rather than the stick burner, so I can cook the wings at 270 and the rest at 225.

    Ribs are ready to go

This will make a great mid-morning snack.

See the bare feet in the bottom of the picture?

Don't do that when using an AMNPS, as one coal, unknowingly, fell on the floor when I was putting it in the cooker and I stepped on it.

    That really got my attention.

In the cooker for their journey

    More to come.

Keep on with the Q-Views....looks like some great food coming!

  3. Turned out great.

It was a super 4th of July, terrific family, friends and neighbors. And a great time.

    God has truly blessed us.

  4. Ribs, well everything actually, looks great. And yeah, Q'ing and bare feet are not a good mix lol.

This 4th of July, take time to remember how and why we celebrate. It's not just a day to party.
