2 butts and first ABTs

    threw 2 butts on the WSM thursday night. Just a basic mustard slather and rub.

    Black Pepper
    Kosher Salt
    Sugar in the Raw
    Brown Sugar


    Coming up to temp

    First ABTs I've done. They were damn good!!! Cream cheese mixture with chives, minced onion, pepper, and some of the rub. Stuffed with a lil smokie too.







    Butts off and rested for 2 hours


    Butts Pulled

    After I pulled I used a finishing sauce I made that contained...
    Cider Vinegar
    Brown Sugar
    Black Pepper
    Kosher Salt
    Cayenne Pepper

    It turned out really good.

    Lunch and froze most of the rest!!

    Haha I have the same temp probe, wally world special. the face on mine fell out when I took it out of the package. Good lookin smoke by the way

    Haha...yep...wally special. My polder gave out on me so I needed a cheap backup until I can get a better one. Thanks for all the comments!
