So I was given some country style pork loin ribs... They are really just pork loin sliced into rib shapes/pieces.. They were really lean (no fat) and I was worried about drying out doing vortex style... I rubbed them up with some of mossymo mossymo 's (Owensbbq.com) Tatonka Dust... mossymo mossymo , Thanks for including the rub in my seasonings, casings, and t-shirt order... Which by the way is freak'n awesome.. First time using it and I have to say it might be my go to rub from here on out... The rub is black in color

Here they are all rubbed up..

So on the Weber they go with the votex set up... A couple of Pecan chunks for smoke

Turned the lid a quarter of a turn every 15 minutes... Flipped the ribs over after 30 minutes... Sauced half of them at the 50 minute mark... Finished at the 1 hour mark

Time to eat and see what the results were.. Mrs. Danls made up some macaroni salad

And the Money Shot... YES... That is our Sunday Best china as well...

I was pleasantly suprised that they weren't like shoe leather... But they weren't super moist either...
The Tatonka Dust is nothing but amazing... The macaroni salad was delicious as well (as usual) ...

Thanks for riding along y'all... And go to Owensbbq.com and order some Tatonka Dust... You'll be glad you did ...

Looks mighty tasty from here Keith! I'd eat a plate of that! I like Tatonka Dust too...don't know why I haven't ordered some of that in a long time...need to do that!

It looks awesome! I should try the Tatonka dust... kinda figured it would be too spicy for my wife.
I wonder if the loin pieces were brined would it keep them more moist?

That's a load of pork . Looks like you have some shoulder sections in there too .
Nice cook , and good looking meal .
go to Owensbbq.com and order some Tatonka Dust...
Used to order pellets from them , and sausage seasonings . Great people . When they stopped selling pellets , I just got away from it . Need to revisit and get some seasoning .
I have some marinades that were sent with and order on time . Pretty good . Never had anything but good from them .

Forgot to add , I'm addicted to Atomic fireballs .

Looks tasty to me! I haven't seen loin cut into ribs around here. I buy the cut up pork butt ones fairly often on sale. Our Savealot usually has them at least monthly for $1.99 / lbs.

I was a long time junkie of atomic fireballs way back to when they were a penny a piece!
