The wife and I went to Sam's Club last week, or the week before, and saw that they have a 36" pellet smoker. I don't have a pellet smoker and just curious if anyone has seen one, or better yet bought one. My MES just isn't big enough to smoke a brisket, and I love brisket. From what I've read on here, pellet smokers can be hit or miss. The price on this is $499 if memory serves.

I can't recall anything I've bought from Sam's over the years to be cheap/poor quality. I bought a six burner SS grill from them about 8 years ago and couldn't be happier with. This is the first time I've seen it there, mixed in with the grills. I figure 36" would fit a brisket just about perfect. If anyone has some info I'd be quite appreciative.

From a quick Google it looks like it’s made by Even Embers? I’m not familiar with them but I’m sure someone will chime in who is.

Looked at it on the last trip. The only thing that caught my attention is the side burner is an induction unit.
I have no idea on the unit as so many many have copied the original Traeger design.
I purchased a Masterbuilt pellet pooper from Sam's on what I now realize as a fire sale to dump a POS unit

Found this while doing a search. I'm not a reddit guy but it's a review.

Thanks for the link! I've never been on Reddit, let alone knew it even existed. I watched that video plus a few others, and read quite a few reviews.

Wife had a doctor's appt this morning and we stopped by Sam's to pick up a few things. The had a display model this time and I looked it over. They also had some Traeger's and I did a lot of comparing between the two makes. The Sam's one is built like a tank compared to the Traeger's.

The only bad reviews I found on it were all electrical issues, but the overwhelming consensus is most folks haven't had any problems and love this smoker. I need to figure out the combination on my wife's purse and hope she doesn't notice a little bit of change missing. I do have a birthday coming up in a couple of months. I think it's about the right time to start dropping some not so subtle hints.

Also, found out returns are very easy at Sam's, and apparently the warrant is life time. I'll have to ask about this next time we go down the hill.

I just got one this week myself. I have only done the burn in so far but it feels like a tank and is heavy. I'll be posting about it as I put it through it's paces.
