So last year before I deployed I sold my 26” kettle since my family was downsizing where we were living for the year I was gone. All that was left was my 22” kettle which I’ll never let go. I had a brilliant plan that I came up with about a week ago to order another one (we both knew I was going to replace it at some point once I got back) but I also missed my 22” WSM so I was going back and fourth on another 26” kettle or 22” WSM. Well I have about 13 days before I’m back home and I ordered both from HD along with a cover for the 26” kettle thinking that’s plenty of time for my wife to be mad at me, get over it and then be happy I’m home. The website showed them all being delivered in the same day so it was perfect BUT. When they moved after I left the house we rented didn’t have a washer or dryer so we had to buy new ones, we must have used her contact info when we ordered them from HD so after I bought both of them and the cover she was getting texts about the “delivery” haha not knowing what it was she didn’t really question it until today when the damn cover for the 26” kettle showed up. I just acted like it was for my 22” kettle. Now the next problem is the WSM says it’s being delivered tomorrow and the 26” kettle on Thursday
. But for plausible deniability I used my sons name(just turned 4) on the delivery address so my last hope is to just say It’s his and he ordered it. She’s a good sport and will understand this was my treat but stay tuned
