Hey everybody! I know I've been away for quite a while as I've been quite busy, and as of June 1st of last year, Im happy to say that I've completed the acquisition of TexaFrance, a food manufacturing facility (a co-packer) where I make BBQ sauces, hot sauces, drink mixes, salad dressings, flavored honeys and jams, and all kinds of other stuff for other people/companies. I purchased the company in order to get my award winning salsa back on the market again, and as of 2 weeks ago, I've started my production of it and I'm now working on getting it into stores as well as getting it on Amazon too. I'm still cooking for the homeless in Austin, TX every month where there are 5 Sunday's and have been able to smoke 100 pounds of pork butts and serve pulled pork to them as well as some hot chili during the colder months. A couple of weeks ago I was able to enter my first local BBQ competition in Walburg, TX, a fantastic little German town just 30 mins or so north of me with a friend of mine where I smoked some ribs and chicken, while he did the brisket (pictures below) and I've even been able to finally publish my first cookbook on Amazon too!
