It's been since last Dec. (S. Fl. Gathering) since I've had the tractor out... The neighbors have been after me to get it out so they could throw some meat on...

So I got it out Monday and took her for a spin... This picture has been posted before... It's a well known fact that I am not big on taking pictures ...

Winn Dixie had everything on sale this past weekend so we went and loaded up...

I was shooting for everything to be done by 6 PM...

7 AM - A whole untrimmed (I don't trim anything off) brisket and 2 Boston Butts go on....
10 AM - everything on gets a spin/turn ...
Noon - A full slab of spare ribs goes on...
1 PM - 4 slabs of Babybacks go on... Everything already on gets a spin/turn
2 PM - A turkey breast goes on.. Butts and Brisket get wrapped...
3 PM - About 20 wings go on ... 3 slabs of BB's get wrapped, 1 going nekkid the whole way..
4 PM - Everything gets a spin/turn ...
6 PM - everything but the brisket was done... It went till 7 PM before it was done...

Here's where I will catch some flak... This was the only picture I got as I was always in a hurry to close the lid on the smoker... This picture was taken at the 1 PM mark when BB's were put on...

Memorial Day 2026 Cook On Tractor.jpg

Thanks for looking Y'all

Sounds like a good day of smokin on the Tractor

Here's where I will catch some flak.

No , not from me. Its your post and you do you.

You must have had a few people around , because that is a big day of smoking a lot of foods. I would not even think of taking pictures if it was me at the wheel.

Are you stocking up the freezer for later meals,

Thanks for posting

David

Tractors need to be taken out for a spin every now and then. That's a smoker full of goodness...

I sure enjoyed it when you take your tractor out. Nice cook.

First time I have seen this, I like your style. Might have to use some inspiration from your tractor when I finally build my setup. I've restored a few antique tractors over the years but now have been in maintenance mode for quite some time, somehow I just don't have as much time to do projects like that anymore and when I do a project it always seems to take way longer than it used to 20yrs ago.

Yea... When I was building this we (grandson and I) were still racing motocross heavy at the time... So I didn't get a lot of time to work on it... It took 2 years to build it...

I actually got the inspiration from a member here that built one just like it (almost)...

The build thread is in my signature below if interested...

You took the tractor on a heck of a ride with all that meat!!
