That young lady has excellent taste! Don't see too many 16 year olds wanting asparagus. And how lucky is she to have parents that can cook so well! So great to see a home cooked birthday dinner.

LMAO... She has her personal sense of taste, and it's eccentric. Only way she likes Asparagus is with a cheese sauce.
I agree, home cooked meals are some of the best.

16 and a reality slap... Ouch!

18 is where our kids get the dose of reality.
School or Work, one is full time and the other part time, take your pick.
We'll cover them on one of our cars if they choose school, if they choose work, it's time for them to get a car and all the payments that go with it.

Our youngest boy is about to turn 19, he works a full time as an HVAC guy, it's what he got certified in at college. He also kept his old part time job at Bass Pro where he's a Saltwater Fishing Outfitter.
That work ethic has enabled him to buy and maintain one of his dream cars, a C5 Corvette.
