My light switch for kitchen is behind my fridge in the middle where I cant reach it. I put a no neutral required wireless switch in a while back and has a remote switch I stuck to side of fridge. The switch uses the ground wire and no neutral. I dont have neutral accessible in box. I am having to turn off and on several times now to get to work. Almost could not get to turn off last night. I tried replacing battery. I ordered a Leviton No-Neutral Decora Smart Dimmer Switch that uses a hub and went to install today. I thought it said had a remote switch but it does not. Would have to just use phone or alexa to control. I am sending it back but having hard time finding something. Amy idea's?

I came real close to running romex for closet light switches but on a whim I tried an led with motion sensor. OMG no other way. $15 I think. I wired mine up but they also make them with medium base for lightbulbs.

Put a standard light switch back in & then install a wireless ceiling light. Then you can control it thru a remote or your phone.

Not a bad idea but I have two lights on that circuit. Probably just get that one from Lowes.
You can do multiple of lights & program the the remote/controller to control more than 1 light.

Only thing that uses batteries is the remote.

Plus you can control brightness & dim if needed.

Sometime you got time check them out & do some reading on them. They are pretty slick, especially all the different stuff you can program them with.

A long time ago (10 years?) I installed a Lutron Caseta 'Pico' PJ2-3BRL wireless switch. No hub needed. I don't think it needed a neutral. Mine had dimmer & preset buttons, although the PJ2-2B looks like a simple on/off remote.
Hope it's still available -- it looks like the world has gone 'hub' crazy.

I see now. I will check them out.

Took a look at couple. That is going to be the way to go. Thanks.

Maybe I'm reading all this wrong but what you're saying is that the light switch for your kitchen lights are behind your fridge? Is the fridge not moveable? If so why and who would do that?

Move the fridge and move the box,not much to it unless the fridge is unmovable which I find hard to believe since the switch was there before the fridge. At some point in the future no matter what you WILL need access to that box, take care of it now.

I'm guessing he moved the fridge next to the entrance to the kitchen .
I mean the light switch should be next to the door that enters the room . Unless it's an added light , with bad switch placement .

This house was built by and old preacher in early 60's. Everything is screwed up. It is at the entrance from laundry room but switch is like 2 foot from door. Kitchen is very small and have big french door that cant really be 3" from wall to reach behind it. My dishwasher door would be close to hitting fridge.

My master bedroom has a double door . Have to open the door , walk in and around the open door to get to the switch .
I never use it . Nature of the beast I guess .

Spent some time looking. Was hoping to find two sizes as the one above sink is smaller. Going to be tight but I think I can get a 12" in there. I getting these. People say can control both with one remote. Thanks for your idea.

It looks like that part number is for the remote only, since it's only $20 or so. A complete kit including the in-wall unit and one remote will run $60-$80.

Yep I ordered the square ones similar to the round ones you ordered. Also if you happen to need a smaller round light, you can get a 10"-11" round. Let me know if everything works out.

I love mine.
