    Great that's the advice I needed.... bottom door it is. I can adjust pull of chimes easily by blocking it or opening it up by sliding it open. The door I'll build with some sort of slotted vents. I'm assuming then the idea is to build a good fire to get the heat up. Any advice for then...

    Inside the chamber are three grills , one to take the water , two to take the meat. The coals are raised off the ground in a small pan.
