    gotcha.  been reading up on the to water or not to water discussion as well, so I think I'll give that a try.  wonder if warranty would cover this as well.

    Hey all, brand new smoker (both the cook and the MES), and from first use after seasoning, it leaks around the bottom of the window.  Nothing major, still works fine, but I get streaks of brown juices running down the front from the window.  Is this normal? thanks, Dave
