What is the best blender or device to mix rub in? I tried making Jeff's rub manually with a sifter and it took too long. Has anyone tried a "Waring Spice Grinder"?
A bowl. What is the best blender or device to mix rub in?...
I have a kitchen aid but the hand held works great. Don't get why you said it would be messy, unless like you said beater (which I guess you meant the old manual type). But I said mixer which I mean as electric, which works the same as the Kitchen Aid just hand held.Sounds like it could be messy with a handheld beater, but if you have a Kitchen Aid or Hobart mixer like the one in the link, it would work fine. Although it doesnt really matter how its done, as long as it works for you.

I would think it depends on how much you plan to make in a batch and what equipment you already have. What is the best blender or device to mix rub in? I tried making Jeff's rub manually with a sifter and it took too long. Has anyone tried a "Waring Spice Grinder"?
