So i just finished up my brisket last night, and I didn't trim any fat off the beauty. I was wondering what do yall do with the fat thats been smoked? Save it for a stew? A stock?
Fat left? Now there's a novel idea........ LOL It would have been fought over here but..... there are many who do not hold with my approach to good conservative nutritious foods. Throw that sucker between two slices of bread with a little BBQ sauce..... You'll get your winshield cleaned for free.!
lol I had my fair share of fat last night, it is delicious for sure. I am the only one at my house at the moment so eating an entire 6.5 pound brisket worth of fat sounds very very bad haha. I was thinking about freezing it for future uses...It almost seems like bacon , or fatback.
You can use it in your hair to bring out that natural shine & luster, besides all the women and puppies will follow you home. That has got to be a good thing.
It would make a good addition to any soup, gravy, sauce...etc. Also use it to grease a pan instead of spray or olive oil. Think about a grilled cheese sandwich infused with brisket fat.
thinking about a grilled cheese sandwich with some fat from a brisket sounds delicious right now...I think im going to make that. That sounds like a good idea to use it for a non stick on a pan, especially for eggs in the morning to give it a smokey taste.
Brisket fat in your brides hair? I bet that is better than that french Ode de Toilette water. Make sure the kids are all in bed first..... just in case.
