I just purchased the Marshall and had a couple of cooks. So far, love it! Still learning, but keeping consistent 230 temp! Damper adjustment and turns on the spendales are the key, just play with them. And largest chunks of lump gives longer burns.Recent purchase of used open range -
I am used to running a WSM 18 " and 22".
So far I like the Open Range better.
