Only had squirrel once that I recall. My brother stuck one with a bow when we lived by the river. If I recall, it was very tough skinning , but quite tasty.
Squirrels are a staple around here....Always do a few squirrel hunt as well as rabbit hunts when I can. We like them in a Squirrel sauce piquant, a squirrel and smoke sausage jambalaya, or in a squirrel and smoke oyster gumbo... All camp favorites.

Your choice of firearms is off the 'cool' scale! It looks very well made. Can you tell us a little more about it. I've got a 50 cal. Lyman Great Plains rifle that I don't shoot often enough.
