Hi,
While digging around the garage I relocated a broken vacuum cleaner that has a stainless steel drum of size immanently suitable for a firebox. As my entire smoker is being made from stainless I though this would be a great option if I could re-purpose the vacuum drum.
Holes in the underside and a row of hole low down.
Any reasons why I should not use this drum in favour of expanded metal?
Recently saw a YouTube video of a drum being used with apparently very successful results?
