I purchased a smoke Tronix electric smoker and didn’t read directions so I didn’t season it. So I’ve smoked out of it once so I try to season it now or no
 
I would clean inside of smoker and go ahead and do what the manual says for seasoning.
 
I agree with ozzz. Go ahead and follow the directions for seasoning. Not sure what you smoked, time, temp, etc., but seasoning can't hurt and will probably prove beneficial.
 
agree with all here, i'm not positive on this but I think the biggest reason for seasoning is to burn off any residual oils or grease from the factory.
