I went to school with his daughter Jessica. Went to his house several times for birthday parties and he was always super cool. He brought Jessica to my house for my birthday in an old Ford (30's ?) pickup truck and gave all of us rides in the back of it.

My favorite band of all time, he could turn the simplest licks into a pure gold solo. He could make the Les Paul scream like a scalded cat. If I could only listen to one song to listen to for the rest of my life, it would be this one.


I was fortunate enough to see them 11 times since 1977, the last time I saw them was in 2019 or 2020.
