Good needle valve for Masterbuilt dual fuel smoker?

Can any one reccomend a good needle valve to use on my Masterbuilt smoker? Or should I swap out my house with the assembly below? I'm looking to use it for hot and cold smoking.

Here's what I got for mine: (from Ace Hardware)

I installled one on my gaser and it helped some but a good regulator is all you need. The valve didn’t make any difference once past a 1/4 turn. It took three turns to completely open the valve. Also amazon sells a regulator with psi gauge so you can see what pressure equals what temp. I’m adding one to mine this week.
