It was up to 158 then I re positioned the Oregon probe not its at 148 after 3-1/2 hours? Should I be worried?

Also I'm running a smoke hollow smoker at 250 my hand held thermometer says 158... lol I have guests coming over in about an hour and a half

Well from the sound of it, I bet the brisket wasn't done in time for your guests.

So how did it turn out & how long did they have to wait to eat?

It turned out great, I pulled it off at 5pm and let it sit in the cooler wrapped for about an hour. Once everyone was here and ready to eat it was perfect
