Here is a recipe that is from a Local BBQ place in East TN, I havent made it yet I just got it on email. If it taste like theres it is a winner. Just thought I'd share..

BBQ SAUCE

32OZ. BOTTLE KETCHUP
2/3 SMALL BOTTLE TABASCO SAUCE
2/3 CUP VEGETABLE OIL
½ TSP. ONION SALT
¼ CUP MOLASSES
½ TSP. SALT
1/3 CUP WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE
4 TSP. MUSTARD
1/3 CUP PLUS1 TABLESPOON SUGAR
½ TSP. ACCENT
4 TSP. KITCHEN BOQUET
½ TSP. PEPPER
MIX AND SIMMER FOR 1 HOUR
MAKES 1 QUART

Kitchen Boquet is a beef/vegetable stock/bullion, FYI
I use the gelatin from the drippings.

Seems a sweet sauce...

Oil is good, sub clarified butter for a richer flavor

The vinegary Tabasco <ugh> is the only acid?

What's YOUR take on it? I mean besides "winner"?

Well I havent made it yet, I just got it but if it is like theres at the restraunt I luv it.. See I am not as knowledgable on these topics as you all are, I'm still learning. Like using the gelatin from the drippings (great idea) see what I learned from just posting that recipeeeee.....

LOL... OK. Din't mean to put ya on the spot...just wanted your taste impressions. Is it on the sweet side? Lacking in bite? or you like it that way..it's all personal taste...but I like to know other's thoughts.

Well I like the bite but rest of family doesnt, 3 to 1 so I loose on alot of things. I just adjust, I get the bite back when I do the ABT's...
