Just got a new Jambo Backyard and really want to add golf cart wheels for ease of movement and trailer loading once in a while.

I know Jamie offers this as an upgrade but we bought what we could find without the wait.

Does anyone own the Backyard with this upgrade? I just wanted to mainly see how he does the front axle steering? His website pics. don’t show enough to tell. Wondering if it’s a tie rod setup or a fixed axle with center pivot?

I see all kinds of ideas on how to do this. I like the tie rod setup but it’s obviously more complicated than a center pivot using another wheel hub. Maybe there is a particular front golf cart axle that can be modified to work best?

can you guys share your ideas and pics. of what you’ve built? I’m pretty good at fabrication and MIG welding at least on a hobbyist level.

Im sure if you contact Jamie at Jambo and tell him you got one used and want to upgrade he will guide you as he doesn't want his product butchered.
