Hi Everyone,
I recently bought Jeff's dry rub and finishing sauce recipe and as skeptical as I was, I bought into his advertising and really wanted to try it out. I'm no meat smoking expert by any means but I do love good food and after using his dry rub and finishing sauce, I have to say that I really loved how my ribs turned out. Money well spent IMHO. In fact, every one of my family that was there loved how it turned out. I went with the 3-2-1 method with a little modification after the experience I gained from my first try at smoked ribs with my little GOSM (I'm sooooo thankful my brother bought this for us for Christmas... I wasn't even expecting it and it wasn't even on my radar for things I wanted or needed). I only kept the ribs in foil for 1 1/2 hours and added the subtracted 30 mins to the front end of the smoke instead. Now, I won't say these turned out perfect because I think there are a few things I still could change in my cooking methods but I'm pretty happy overall. So without further ado... it's Q-View time:
Prepped baby back and spare ribs with Jeff's dry rub recipe
Finished baby back ribs getting a little sitting time after coming out of the smoker
A cut of the spareribs (I didn't take a pic of the baby back ribs after cutting and I wish I did because I think I prefer baby back )
Thanks Jeff for an awesome recipe!
