Smoke vault gas conversion question
Just got a 24" Smoke Vault from Camp Chef and am converting to gas. I called Questar (our local gas co.) and they said to use a #49 gas drill bit given that we live at 7000' ASL. Pellet additives
Red- Sorry to mix up the topics. Since I have a lot of chunks of wood, I would like to use that instead of pellets. If I can't find a smoker that I like that will use chunks, I wanted to be sure that pellets didn't have any additives. I also have a natural gas BBQ so my plan is to add...- pcut

Newbie looking to step up from the Alton Brown home made flower pot smoker. Located in Park City, Ut (7000 ASL). Pretty much a rookie but want to buy a smoker that can do both hot and cold smoking. Ideally a natural gas smoker that I can put next to my gas grill. Looking forward to tapping... -
