    It all depends on the Quer... I agree w/ SRS, I like 'em Smokey... I like to keep a nice flow going on 'em the whole time they are in the smoker. I use the 3-2-1 method as stated by NG ... Apple has a nice flavor, so it would not hurt at all for 2 or 3 stokes, depends how fast your unit...
