    yes it is. My 4x6 tube is 4 inches off the bottom of 10x10 fire box. Think that has anything to do with it?

    So I have pretty much copied your smoker. Love it. Only problem is it went through 30lbs of kingsford in 8 hrs. Seals are good. What your think problem is? My thoughts are that I possibly have transfer tube to high
