Ditto what Dave, Sqwib & Al said. In retrospect, I may have seemed a little harsh in my criticism of the WSM. Fact is, I love 'em and did just fine with them right out of the box. Some of us just can't leave well enough alone and I was probably a little "cranky" that day. I think they are outstanding cookers and very user friendly. Good advice to cook on it for a while, then decide whether you want to tweek anything or not.
