Thanks for the warm welcome.  I've been smoking meats for a few years with varied success.  Boston butts are probably my best products yet I'm always trying to learn more.  Looking forward to learning from the folks in this forum.  I have a Brinkmann bullet smoker, an offset firebox barrel smoker(River Grille, I think, as the labels are gone), a Masterbuilt electric smoker, and someone just gave me a used propane verticle smoker, which I haven't messed with yet.  My wife thinks I have a smoker fetish, to go with my "cooler fetish".  She doesn't understand that each cooler or smoker serves a slightly different purpose(you know, like her shoes!).  lol

Thanks for the warm & smoky welcomes!  Just returned from a second line wedding in New Orleans, where 2 of the parade participants were nude but fully dressed in body paint.  Unfortunately the couple of honor are vegans{can you imagine!} so there was no smoked meat at the reception-in fact, no meat at all.  Left the reception hongry!

Anyway, when you reference QVIEW, does that just mean in-progress photos?  I'm a very late technology adopter so I've yet to get a smart phone, but I'll find another way to post pics.  Right now texting pics is as far as I've advanced.
