Smoking a country ham !

      Im going to be smoking a precooked store bought ham this weekend for my nieces birthday. Because this is my first time doing a country ham , I was wanting some info/advice on doing it. Such as temp, time, wood type, to marinate or not. Any info will be appreciated. Thanks
     
  2. Is this a cured and smoked but still raw ham?

    If so you are going to need to soak it in water to pull out a lot of the salt. You can use any wood that you like. I wouldn't marinate it.
