Ah the power of a Google Search, brought me to this group. I started smoking with my Masterbuilt electric smoker this summer and have pretty much kept it simple with things like whole chickens and baby back ribs. As a matter of fact I have ribs in there as I type this. I'm from Schoharie, NY and I love to BBQ so smoking was a natural place to go. My grandaughter graduated from high school this summer and her parents held a party that I did all of the cooking. I smoked two Boston Butts for pulled pork and BBQ'd 30 lbs of chicken, my first "big" attempt and got rave reviews. I make my own sauces and rubs. Hope to meet many informative friends and share whenever I can.
