New to smoking

Discussion in 'Roll Call' started by kdquades, Nov 23, 2013.

  1. From Nebraska. Purchased a Bradley electric smoker last Saturday and excited to learn how to smoke.

Already have a 15# turkey thawing in the refrigerator and am heading to the store to pick up some fish and possibly some pork.

I'm probably in a bit over my head but what they heck, you only live once. I'm discovering that to do all of this seems to take a lot of dedication and time. Hope I can stick with it all. Seems to be an awful lot to learn.

Welcome to the group!  Congrats on the new Bradley...those are nice rigs!  You'll find that this is a great place to share ideas on smoking, grilling, etc.  There are plenty of folks here who genuinely enjoy helping one another.  Looking forward to your input, and just ask when you need anything...someone here will surely have the answer.
