Decided to give chuck roast burnt ends a try today for after the first Husker gamr of the season. I didn't have aNY perforated trays to use so I made some. I poked some holes in a foil pan I had then ran some skewers through another one to create a rack. I cut two chuck roast up into 1 inch-ish pieces. I tossed them with some EVOO and some JB's Sweet rub. They are on smoker now with some cherry wood. I'm going to toss them with some Sweet Baby Ray's Honey BBQ Sauce in a few hours.
