  1. Spent a good six hours reading a thread about mods to Char Grill brand smokers, and realized I was hooked.

    Amateur backyard cook here, but I am learning new stuff all the time.  I currently cook on an un-modified Char Grill Outlaw model with an SFB.  My ribs are getting pretty respectable, my tenderloins are awesome, my beer-can chicken is damn near perfect, but brisket is still beating me down.  I have all summer to figure that one out.  Hopefully when I complete some of the mods on my smoker, it will give me an edge over that tricky brisket.

    I currently live in Colorado, but that could change anytime the Army decides I should be living somewhere else.  Hoping to stay in Colorado, because it's perfect for an outdoorsman like me.
