    Any ideas for about 8 pounds of Italian sausage?

    Spaghetti, pizza, stuffed pork loin, ABT's, fatties, grilled on a bun with peppers & onions, calzone, sausage & cheese omelet, the list goes on!

    Sausage Bolognese comes to mind, over Polenta or Gnocci...JJ

    On the grill it is!! Any suggestions hoe long to leave the links soaking in beer? Maybe a hour?

    Are you boiling them in beer or just soaking them?

    If you boil them about 15 minutes in the beer, then brown them up on the grill they are really good.
     
  8. I like to fry them and then finish them in some homemade sauce for a few hours. Them make subs/hoagies/grinders/po' boys out of them with peppers and cheese or just throw over some pasta. They are great with scrambled eggs and green peppers too.
     
  9. Sausage parm hoggies (prep the sausage like Alelover said first then use the sauce for the parm hoggie), sausage with fried peppers and onions... sausage with polenta and beans.......[​IMG]

    The uses are endless. Al gave ya a good list, and also made me hungry lol

    When I do sausages in the beer I add onion and a touch of caraway seed bring it to a boil turn off heat add sausage and let them soak for couple hours, then brown them up on the grill.

    Uncased, I do like to incorporate a % of italian sausage with beef into wonderful meatballs. Then just add garlic, breadcrumbs (or soaked hunks), parmesan, basil, onion, plenty of S&P, eggs to bind and a generous dollop of your favortie sauce & you'll have some very nice polpette di carne  fresca!

    Sausage turned out awesome fellas thank yall....ate the leftovers for breakfast with some vinegar and rendevous rub sprinkled on them
