  1. Well, it is that time of year that this site is probably getting flooded with new members so I figured that I'd join the frenzy...  I live in Central PA and have been using charcoal for just about 2 years (since my FIL bought me a Weber kettle grill for my 30th birthday).  Currently, the only equipment that I have is that Weber kettle grill, but I have smoked about half a dozen racks of ribs in the last 2 years with pretty good success, it just takes a little bit more TLC and attention to maintain temperature than I assume it would in an actual smoker.  So that's about it on me...
