Always good to introduce yourself, so here we go! My name is Brent and I have always loved to grill. That was until I built a smoker!

It drives my neighbors crazy with the scent and provides delicious food for the family. Well, except my oldest daughter...she is a vegetarian!

  2. Welcome to the fourm; there is lots of excellent information available here. The advantage of smoking in Arizona is, it only takes one lump of charcoal to get the smoker up to 225, if you leave your smoker out in the Sun ;)

    Welcome from Canada Brent!

Man that cannot be easy having a passion for grilling and smoking and having the oldest daughter being a Veggiehead! You could always smoke a few nuts for her! LOL

Glad to see another Arizonan here.  We're special breed. We'll fire up the grills and smokers when it is 115+, just to impart that smokey goodness on a piece of meat.

Where in Arizona are you located?  I am in Glendale.

  8. I am so far south, that when people cross the border, I can hear the fence rattle.
