I have to share a little secret, I ain't all that crazy about Mesquiet either, I mean I ain't too proud to eat anything smoked in it, but the couple of times that I tried using it I swear that it left a dusty taste in my mouth. Maybe just a bad batch of wood? Maybe a little taste of Texas, I don't know. But straight Hickory and Oak, now you are talking! I ain't no conosouir, I am a junkie, there is a difference!
