Hi Everyone!

I'm Tracy from central Virginia and I am very new to smoking.......just bought a Brinkman electric smoker 2 days ago. We seasoned it yesterday and are attempting to use it today. We have a turkey in it right now and it has been in there all day long. I'm not sure what the best kind of smoker is going to be for us but we are looking at this one as a starter smoker. I am really looking forward to being a part of these forums and hopefully making my smoking dreams a reality.

Tracy,
Welcome, from southern Ohio, to the best forum on the internet if you are looking to learn how to BBQ/smoke/brine/cure/inject. Well you get the picture if you can do it to to something you put on a plate to eat then someone here has probably done it. Use the search bar at the top of the page and you will be led to the answer to most every question you can think of. If you don't find the answer there then just post it and someone will chime in with their opinion on the subject.
You would be surprised how many on here started there smoking adventure with a Brinkman electric smoker!
They are a great first smoker. There are alot of people that once they master them and they end up rusting out in a few years, just go out and buy another one!
Always remember the only dumb question is the one you don’t ask!!
Keep Smokin!!!
