Hey guys,

Not real new to smoking, but I'm not a smoke master either.....LOL.  I live in Florida and have been smoking with a 30" MES, which I just upgraded to the 40" bluetooth model today.  Was contemplating the new Masterbuilt 44" double door, double burner gas model but after reading many reviews it seemed it need about $100 worth of modifications for it to work well.  I really liked the 30" MES other than it has gotten too small so I decided to stick with what I knew.....

One thing I would like to do is add a smoke generator as I have found for long smokes I spend a lot of time refilling the tiny chip tray.  I've been contemplating the Masterbuilt smoke generator or an ANMPS.

See you guys on the forums!!

Matt

Welcome from SC, Matt. It's good to have you on this great site. I'm sorry, I don't know anything about your type of smoker. Some others will surely be by that can help you.

Hi Matt! Another Masterbuild fan here. I have to agree the small chip tray is a downside that has me thinking about ways to modify it also. With the one I have I had to change the process a slight bit anyway, if I dumped my wet chips directly after placing it into the chamber I was having major fire almost instantly. So I have gone to leaving them in the tray until they are burned and then turning to dump it. Not exactly by the directions but I never was good at following directions anyway

  Anyway welcome!
