  1. Long time lurker. First time poster. I want to say thanks to everyone who posts on the forums it is a big help to those of us who came here to learn. My name is Doug and I just started a fridge conversion that has about two more weekends to complete. I'll start the pictures and posting when I am done. I love posts with pictures so thanks to those who do it.

I got some good ideas from here. In fact I stole every idea from here! I am an over the road truck driver so I get to try a lot of barbq all over and have always wanted to try my own. I got Jeff's book for Christmas and several others and I can't wait to get started. Well thanks for having me and so long for now. Doug

Welcome, from southern Ohio, to the best forum on the internet if you are looking to learn how to BBQ/smoke/brine/cure/inject. Well you get the picture if you can do it to something you put on a plate to eat then someone here has probably done it then smoked it.

Use the search bar at the top of the page and you will be led to the answer to most every question you can think of. If you don't find the answer there then just post it and someone will chime in with their opinion on the subject.

Always remember the only dumb question is the one you don’t ask!!
    Keep Smokin!!!
