Hey everyone. Richard from Salem Or. I just picked year my second smoker, for about the last year I have been using my gas grill and a cast iron smoke box with some good luck, I picked up a electric Brinkman it work great till it started to get cold out, I just bought a masterbuilt electric smoker. It’s just me and my wife and our two dogs. Aim home on disability so it seem that it a good time to learn to use my smoker

I also have the Masterbuilt Electric Smoker, great little smoker. Its fondly Called a MES here on Smoking meat forums. They are great smokers and not too affected by the cold weather. Or rain either for that matter.

I keep telling people that it doesn't always rain here on the north west coast, sometimes its sunny for a few moments when its just about to rain.
